Bern

Bern is the capital of Switzerland and a UNESCO World Heritage Listed Old Town. The historic ambiance of the city has painted in the distinctive grey-green sandstone, cellar shops, archaic museums, 16th-century fountains, astounding folk figures, narrow streets, and historic towers. Its 6 kilometers of arcades which is known as ‘Lauben’ to the locals.

It is a favourite among the tourists for Europe’s one of the longest weather-sheltered shopping promenades. From the surrounding hills, you can capture a spectacular view of the red roofs and Aare river that girdles the city.

The small street cafes, boutiques, and bars offer a lot more entertainment to the tourists. Furthermore, Bern is the primary center of Switzerland's Government as the houses of Parliament situated there. The tourists can also cultivate the culture and historical significance by visiting the Art Museum, History Museum, Communication Museum, and Swiss Alpine Museum in Bern.
