Chur

Chur is Switzerland’s oldest city with a mind-blowing scenic beauty packed with historic buildings, twisted alleys, and beautiful mountain setting.

Chur is popular for the vineyards in the ‘Bündner Herrschaft’ which is a famous winemaking region. A regional mountain ‘Brambrüesch’ offers its won summer and winter sports region. This city is also a gateway to the Grisons mountains that boasts of 26 holiday and spa resorts.

Countless boutiques, bars, restaurants, museums, galleries in the traffic-free Old Town wrap the city with a Mediterranean-style atmosphere. Chur has many historical significances as once the Romans, Celts, Ostrogoths, and the Franks ruled there.

A variety of stores, theatres, museums, and the PostBus station validates that Chur is the capital of a large area and a commercial center.
